Tempo

Part of the suite of internal tools built at Weinmann Technologies. Before Tempo, time was logged on unreliable spreadsheets, with no formal approval process and no overview for managers. The project is part of the Weinmann Client Portal, a set of internal applications designed to modernize the company's business processes.

Spreadsheets couldn't manage permissions (employee vs. manager), provide a traceable approval process, or automatically sync absences from the Silae HR tool. Salaried staff on fixed-day contracts had no dedicated system for their monthly day allowances.

Built a fullstack web application solo (frontend + backend). Users log their daily activities and view their history and absences — automatically synced with Silae via a Python script. Managers get dedicated access to approve or correct entries. Includes role management (employee, manager, admin), protected routes, and a modular TailwindCSS interface.

The tool is used daily in production across the entire company. Spreadsheets have been fully retired. Managers save significant time on approvals. The tool keeps evolving based on user feedback — proof it has earned its place in their daily routine.
